Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have been left divided after former head coach Rob Edwards broke his silence just hours after the club moved to appoint Cesar Peixoto as their new permanent boss.
The decision to part ways with Edwards has stunned many across English football. The former Wolves player only arrived at Molineux during the 2025/26 campaign and, despite being unable to prevent relegation from the Premier League, had already begun shaping the club’s Championship rebuild.
In recent days, Wolves had generated renewed optimism among supporters after securing the return of club legend Raul Jimenez and completing a deal for experienced England international Kieran Trippier.
