SQ search for witnesses to Highway 15 motorcyclist crash in Montreal

The Major Crime Investigation Division of the Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help in locating witnesses to a collision involving a Montreal motorcyclist on the evening of June 6.

At around 9:45 p.m., a motorcyclist travelling northbound on Highway 15 lost control of his vehicle and collided with a concrete wall beside the traffic lanes.

When emergency services arrived on the scene, they found a man in his 20s lying unresponsive near exit 63. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation suggests that the motorcyclist was thrown onto the opposite lane of traffic and then struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the scene.

Investigators are seeking to interview anyone who may have witnessed the event, particularly those who may think they can identify the driver or passengers of the vehicle involved.

Anyone with information about this event is asked to contact or the Sûreté du Québec’s Central Criminal Information at 1-800-659-4264.
