Mia Hutchinson, sister of Detroit Lions defensive star Aidan Hutchinson, recently revealed some joyful personal news: she’s engaged to her longtime partner, Tim. The proposal couldn’t have been more romantic, taking place beside the Eiffel Tower in Paris — one of the world’s most famous landmarks.

Mia announced the engagement on Instagram, posting a touching photo of Tim kissing her on the cheek while she proudly showed off her gleaming ring in front of the iconic backdrop.

She captioned the moment:
“10 years as my boyfriend… now my FIANCÉ!!!!!!”

The celebration continued the next morning as Mia shared a snapshot of their elegant Parisian breakfast, simply captioned:

While Mia marks this exciting milestone, her brother Aidan remains focused on returning to the field. After suffering a significant leg injury in Week 6 last season, he dedicated himself to rehab and was recently cleared to play again.

Speaking with reporters at the Lions’ training facility, Aidan expressed how good it feels to be back with his teammates:
“I got cleared a while back, and now I’m just rolling with the boys. It feels like I’m back to being myself again.”

Having participated in OTAs and minicamp, Aidan is preparing for a big comeback in 2025. He reflected on what stepping back onto the field means after such a long recovery:
“When I step onto that field again for the first time, no one will appreciate it more than I will. Getting to compete on that big stage again — that’s what lights my fire. That’s why I play.”

Before his injury, Hutchinson played in five games, tallying 19 total tackles, including 12 solo stops. He’s currently under a rookie deal valued at $35.71 million, but reports indicate he could soon sign an extension that would make him one of the highest-paid edge rushers in the NFL.
