Livingston manager David Martindale did not mince words after a dramatic 2–1 defeat to Celtic, claiming that the home supporters’ chaotic chant in the dying moments of the match directly influenced the outcome.

Martindale, visibly frustrated in his post-match interview, revealed that the nonchalant behavior of Celtic fans during stoppage time had unnerved his players, disrupting their focus at a critical moment.

“WTF is that chant? Honestly, Celtic has lost my respect today,” Martindale said. “This isn’t how football should be. The fans completely changed the game in the last minute, and I’m calling on the SFA to investigate immediately.”

Celtic had taken the lead through Marcelo Saracchi in the 15th minute, but Livingston fought back, with Ryan Muirhead converting a penalty in the 57th minute to level the score. Just when it seemed the match might end in a draw, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain struck in stoppage time at 90+1 minutes, handing Celtic the win.
