Free tickets were also offered to summer and fall graduates, as well as guests of graduates. A limited number of tickets were made available to faculty, staff and other students.

Saban had a legendary tenure as the head coach of Alabama football from 2007 through 2023, retiring on Jan. 10, 2024. Shortly after retiring, Saban joined ESPN as a college football analyst. Saban was part of ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage this past weekend, and is set to return to College GameDay for the 2025 season.
