While the Raiders have several esteemed captains on their roster, including Kolton Miller, Gardner Minshew, Maxx Crosby, Robert Spillane, and AJ Cole, sources confirm that the recent nuptials of newly signed tight end and now, Raiders captain, Ian Thomas, have captivated fans and teammates alike.
Thomas, who recently joined the Silver and Black, married his longtime girlfriend, Azaria Algarin, in an elegantly modern celebration held in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The wedding, described as a “dream come true” by Algarin, featured approximately 220 guests, including numerous professional football players.
The happy couple exchanged handwritten vows and shared their first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me.” The festivities also included unique performances by an aerialist, violinist, and saxophonist, adding to the memorable atmosphere. Algarin donned a custom ballgown designed by “Say Yes to the Dress” star Pnina Tornai, while Thomas looked sharp in a suit by Mitch Purgason.
