Chelsea vs West Ham Ends in Absolute Chaos as One Player Sent Off in Massive Brawl

Chelsea’s 3-2 victory against West Ham United ended in chaos as players from both sides became involved in a large fight. And the Premier League have now explained why Jean-Clair Todibo was shown a red card amidst the chaos.

In a nightmare first half for the west London club, Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring in fortunate fashion when his cross crept past the diving Robert Sanchez. And Crysencio Summerville lashed home a second half-time, with Chelsea out fought in every area by the visitors.

Liam Rosenior rang the changes at half-time, with a trio of changes at the heart of three goals. 12 minutes after the restart, Wesley Fofana curled in a delightful cross which was nodded home by Joao Pedro. And Marc Cucurella then bundled the ball in after West Ham failed to clear their lines after another cross

Both sides pushed for a late winner, but it was Chelsea who then grabbed all three points when Enzo Fernandez smashed home Enzo Fernandez’s cutback from close range. But while there was bedlam at the Bridge, even more drama was set to follow.

Todibo Shown Red Card for Moment of Madness

With seconds ticking down, Adama Traore and Cucurella were both battling for the ball by the corner flag. But after the winger flung his opponent to the floor in frustration, Joao Pedro then pushed the Spaniard away.

That then sparked a melee between both teams, as every player on the pitch sprinted over to the scene of the crime to either break up or get involved in the scuffle. While the melee was ongoing, West Ham centre-back Todibo managed to confront Joao Pedro.

The red mist had descended over the Frenchman, who proceeded to grab the Brazilian striker by his neck. That then led to even more chaos between both sets of players, as officials attempted to figure out exactly what had happened.
