Jaden Rashada has made his transfer decision

Jaden Rashada is moving to his fourth school since 2023.

Rashada plans to move to Sacramento State, as reported by multiple recruiting outlets including 247 Sports and On3 on Friday. Hayes Fawcett mentions that Rashada has officially committed to the Hornets.

Rashada was a five-star prospect after high school, but his journey has experienced several twists. He started at Florida but didn’t play for them and ultimately sued the school for supposedly not honoring the NIL agreement they had with him. Rashada was freed from his Letter of Intent with Florida and then moved to Arizona State.

Rashada participated in three games for ASU in the 2023 season, throwing for 485 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. He lost time that season because of a knee injury.

Rashada also spent time sidelined in the 2024 spring because of a thumb injury prior to transferring to Georgia. Rashada’s stint at Georgia was short, as he announced after the season that he would be transferring again.

He had an official visit arranged with Western Kentucky, but is seemingly opting to attend Sacramento State instead.

Sacramento State has appointed a new head football coach by hiring Brennan Marion, who previously served as the offensive coordinator at UNLV. Sac State has also attracted attention lately because of the basketball coach they appointed. They now possess a famous quarterback on their team.
