Just when you thought the Bills Mafia couldn’t get any more heartwarming — former Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan stepped up in a big way this week.

After hearing that St. Bernadette’s Catholic Elementary School was struggling to fund transportation for its students, Rex didn’t hesitate. He donated his personal Bills-branded pickup truck — yes, the one with flames on the side and a “Play Like a Jet” bumper sticker that someone definitely peeled off — to help shuttle kids to and from school.

The kids LOVE it. They’re calling it the “Rexpress.” One parent said it best: “It’s like getting picked up by a Buffalo legend and a tailgate party all in one.”

Only in Buffalo do you go from running the defense to running the morning carpool.
